Journal Description: Journal of Quantum Electronics and Spintronics provides an international medium for the publication of original theoretical and experimental studies (both regular papers and short communications) and reviews related to the quantum electronic and spin properties, or phenomena, of solid state materials in bulk, thin film and particulate forms (micro-, nano- and low-dimensional structures, e.g. nanoparticles, nanowires, nanotubes, quantum wells, quantum wires, and quantum dots). Contributions include a variety of topics such as: materials properties and characterization, laser-matter interactions, coherent control, electromagnetics, nonlinear optical phenomena, laser physics, spectroscopy, optoelectronics, fiber optics, integrated optics, photonics, magneto-optics, magnetism, spin transport, spin-dependent phenomena or spin physics. Contributions dealing with quantum electronic and spintronic devices and applications are also suitable for JQES.
