This new international journal presents original research and reports on the internet which our editors consider significant and important for users in the academic community. According to the most current information, there are about 800 million (and growing) web pages on the internet. Knowledge of the makeup and developments in this diverse universe is extremely limited since the search engines covering the highest number of sites barely reach 15%.
Internet Journal also includes excerpts from selected books on these topics, listings of journal articles and lists of new books. Relevant newspaper articles are analyzed as well. Emphasis is given to searching, policy, security, viruses, internet indecency. law and the internet, future versions of internet, access, social applications and impact, current applications on the internet and current trends; website subpopulation analyses and chat room analyses. Websites of universities and colleges are regularly evaluated and rated for logic of presentation and seven other criteria.
