Abstract: Diverse methods of large-scale measurements of biological processes have emerged in the last 15 years and their list is growing rapidly. „OMICS‟ technologies and development of algorithms for data management have revolutionized the biological and biomedical sciences and has expanded previously focused readouts from a variety of DNA preparation protocols to a genomic wide scale. The genomics has started showing its impact on designing and producing novel vaccines and drugs for various types of pathogens. Further developments in functional genomics will allow novel approaches to resolve key problems and currently associated with experimental biology, vaccinology and medicine and health management.
