The ADD Brain is a break-through book in the literature on Attention Deficit Disorder. Attention Deficit Disorder is defined as a set of neurological behaviors, not as a mental disorder. Neurological behaviors are controlled by the chemistry of the brain and not learned behaviors. The neurological behaviors of ADD, in particular, are the result of inherited brain chemistry and, at most, are minimally influenced by environmental factors. Accordingly, effective treatment of ADD must always include medication.
