Book Description:
Condensed matter physics (solid state physics) deals with the study of matter in scales larger than atoms. Some of the key questions researched include Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid (TLL) theory, the impact of carbon-fibre reinforced-plastic (CFRP) materials in the design of aerospace structures and other designs, artificial electromagnetic materials which can be utilized to manipulate light propagations, and have potential applications in designs of photonic and quantum optical devices, research on spintronics, or spin electronics, routes to improvement of critical current properties in the development of high performance MgB2 materials and the influence of thermomechanical treatment (TMT) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of weather resistance steel.
