Abstract: Hygiene refers to the science of the establishment and maintenance of human health. The practice of hygiene concentrates mainly on manipulating and controlling the environment. Hygiene is related to issues such as the control of microorganism, sanitation, personal hygiene, control of infection, and the organization of health services. Home hygiene means not only general daily cleaning of the home but the sum total of measures used to prevent transfer of germs which includes food hygiene (including cooking of food), personal hygiene and hygiene related to care of vulnerable groups. Domestic cleaning is a proper means to raise the level of hygiene in the home. Efficient cleaning processes do not only remove visible soil and stains but remove microorganism also is an effective way. The spread of infectious disease in the home, as elsewhere, can be prevented through an effective hygiene methods. Improving hygiene in the home is dependant on educating the public about the health risks in the home, offering them the means to manage those risks in an acceptable way and motivating them to permanently change their habits.
