Abstract:
Dynamical strategy for the nuclear power plants (NPPs) export of 1,400 MWe power
is examined. Recent contraction of South Korean government for the export of NPPs to
UAE is exampled for the basic conceptions. Historical accidents of Three Mile Island
(TMI) NPP accident in the United States and the Chernobyl NPP disaster in the Soviet
Union can initiate this study for the marketing promotions. Systems thinking algorithm is
a tool for the simulation of the dynamical quantification which is realized by the system
dynamics (SD) method. A commercial computer package, Vensim, is used for the event
flows, stocks, and feedback by the single and double arrow lines for the simulations. The
SD is used for the quantifications of the export strategy in this nuclear industry. Dr. Jay
Forrest in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) created SD for the non-linear
characteristics of the social and economical system. The dynamical scenarios of the
complex system are tested using SD. The SD has been applied to the organizations by the
transitions of the time. In addition, there are some decision-making related papers.
Several dynamical investigations are discussed. The object of the result shows the
possibility of the continuous possibility of the export by South Koreanís government.
