Carcinoma Ex Pleomorhic Adenoma: Case Report of a Rare Tumor
Abstract: Malignant salivary tumors represent 3 to 5% of all malignant head and neck tumors. Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma is a rare tumor. It usually develops from long standing pleomorphic adenoma. There have been limited imaging findings and information for these rare neoplasms in the literature. A case of this rare tumor is described with its clinical features and multispeciality approach of management is provided.
