Computational and Raman Spectral Studies on Probing Azaindole Adsorption on Ag Nanometal Doped Sol Gel Substrates pp. 343-350

Abstract: Computational and Surface enhanced Raman spectral studies are used to probe the adsorption of 7-azaindole on the Ag doped sol-gel substrates. The adsorption mode and the vibrational spectral futures are discussed.This chapter gives a further account of application of theoretical calculations and modeling of the adsorption of azaindole on the Ag nanometal surface. The abinito and DFT level calculated Ag complexed and experimentally obtained SERS results are well agreed. It is proposed that the similar methods can be implemented in the study of surface vibrational properties of adsorbates adsorbed on nanometal embedded sol-gel substrates.
