Abstract:
The relevance of the presented study is due to a lack of proper approaches to an assessment of disorders of blood pressure (BP) nighttime/daytime ratio. For this purpose, it is proposed to use circadian index (CI) for BP, which is a ratio obtained by dividing day time BP values by its nighttime values [1]. This study aims to find out the role of CI in the assessment of the level of the risk of hypertension.
