Abstract:
The problem of periodontal diseases has become relevant with reference to structure of dental pathologies. The prevalence of gingival recession reaches 99.7% in the adult population [1]. A surgical method is the treatment of choice to eliminate gingival recession. To increase the area of keratinized attached gingiva, the use of a free connective tissue graft is recognized as the “gold standard” [2].
A number of clinical and experimental works are devoted to the study of autogenous platelet plasma as an effective keratoplastic agent in inflammatory periodontal diseases [3], however, works on the use of plasma in gingival recession are few. Thus, at the modern stage of development of mucogingival plastic surgery, it is urgent to search for new methods and techniques of surgical treatment of gingival recession using the new biomaterials. To clarify the perspectives for the use of various methods and types of implantable materials in clinical practice, an important stage is in vitro research on cellular model systems. This study aims to perform comparative analysis of the perspectives for the combined use of activated plasma and collagen 3D matrix for the regeneration of soft tissues of the oral cavity in vitro.
